Benjamin has given presentations on the topic of tourism destination recovery for the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and the University of Washington. He has authored a chapter on tourism destination recovery for a book being published by the UNWTO; as well as, articles for Youth Travel International Magazine on the topics of voluntourism and web 2.0 technologies in the Travel Industry. He also served on the entrepreneurship and innovation panel at the iEdge conference sponsored by the University of Washington's Information School.
